Elva Wang, 9th grader：
This trip is the second time that I’ve gotten in touch with the students in Dublin School. Last time we went to ChangBai Mountain and watched the skiing competition. Their persistence really amazed me. Once they find their dream or interests, like skiing, they spend all their enthusiasm in it and never give up. Maybe that’s the difference between us and them.
Fortunately, this time we went to their school and spent a whole day with the students, one-on-one, shadowing their schedule。 Studying with them and experiencing their life。 That amazed me again, because their lifestyle is really different from ours。
Firstly, their classes are diverse. They can choose whatever they except for the classes they must take. They can use their cellphones during class, but nobody used them to entertain themselves. They know what that are supposed to do. They have enough time to play, and don’t just lie on the bed and watch “DouYin”. They do sports, join theme parties, or do research. That’s their meaning in life.Secondly, it’s very open in their school. This is very different from the public school in Beijing. They can practice in real life. They can also choose their major. If you are a sports person, they you can spend ore time doing sports.
The school supports and agrees with that. The school also provides, facilities, equipment and chances to help achieve your goal.Last the food in Dublin is pretty good. It’s pretty healthy and delicious. The environment is also beautiful, with plenty of plants and lovely animals. It’s a good place to rest after study. Additionally, their library is amazing. It is broken into two parts, a group study area and a place where you can study alone.
